In the interest of public safety, the Edmonton Police Service is issuing the following warning. 40-year-old Edward Louis Dore was recently released from a correctional facility after he completed a 184-day sentence for two counts of assault with a weapon.
Dore is considered by police to be an untreated, impulsive, violent offender who poses a risk of significant harm to the community.
The Edmonton Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community. Dore will be residing in the city of Edmonton. He will be bound by the conditions of a two-year probation order.

Caucasian male, 5’7”, 160 lbs, brown eyes and brown hair.
