Helena Guergis and Rahim Jaffer, time for a divorce

Helena Guergis resigned as Minister for the Status of Women Friday afternoon.

She was then kicked out from the Conservative caucus after the P-M asked the RCMP to investigate a mushrooming scandal surrounding her.

Harper made the announcement after weeks of tumult involving Guergis and her husband, former Conservative M-P Rahim Jaffer.

She called the allegations made about her family “baseless” but said she needed to step aside for the sake of the government.

The Toronto Star reported this week that Jaffer, a defeated Tory M-P for Edmonton, boasted to businessmen that he could help them get federal money while easily ushering them in to see officials in Harper’s office.

Helena Guergis appears to be a woman in love. Sad part is that she fell in love with Rahim Jaffer. It appears from the Toronto Star article that Mr. Jaffer operates under his own set of rules and believes that he is immune from the law. Love is blind as they say.

a) Criminal charges against Mr. Jaffer and Helena Guergis 

b) Mr. Jaffer will leave Guergis high and dry. Divorce. This marriage is over.
