Apple Inc new product i.e. the iPhone 4S which launched over the concluded weekend sold as many as 4million units worldwide.
According to a statement released by Apple Inc these humongous figures are the highest from any iPhone till now. They also mentioned that about 25million users have already started using the iOS 5 on their iPods, iPads and iPhone’s. Not only that, but another 20 million users have registered for new data storage service iCloud.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing said “The figures are the most ever for a phone and more than double the iPhone 4 launch during its first three days, iPhone 4S is a hit with customers around the world, and together with iOS 5 and iCloud, is the best iPhone ever.”
Apple’s last product the iPhone 4 which released in June 2010 is the company’s best seller, it sold more than all the previous versions of the iPhone series combined.
On the first day of in-store iPhone 4S sales, Sprint said the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S resulted in its best sales day for any product line it has ever carried. A few analysts weighed in on Friday, projecting that by Sunday night 2 million to 4 million of the new iPhones would have be sold.
