Karan Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai had released 18 years ago which was a massive success. Karan Johar won a plethora of awards back in 1998. An old video has surfaced online and is going viral for a completely different reason.

At 1999 Zee Cine Awards, Shatrughan Sinha and Subhash Ghai had presented Karan Johar with Best Debut Director award. Shatrughan was accompanied by his daughter Sonakshi Sinha who was given the honour to announce the winner’s name. A geeky and shy Sonakshi didn’t leave her dad’s side at all. It seemed like she wanted to present Karan with the award but her father won’t let her do it. The awkward moment from her past is cute to watch.

A gawky teenager then, Sonakshi Sinha is one of the popular faces in Bollywood today. She is currently gearing up for her upcoming action thriller Force 2 which is scheduled to release on November 18, 2016.
