Promising to be a bigger and better action thriller, filmmaker Deven Bhojani decided to recreate a musical moment from the 90s. Remember the song ‘Tamma Tamma Loge’ from Thanedaar featuring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. While it received a cult status during those times, it will once again be seen in Commando 2 but as a promotional song.

Keeping up with the current trend of reviving musical classics, ‘Tamma Tamma’ will be picturized on Vidyut Jammwal along with his co-stars Adah Sharma as they will be seen having a face-off with the villainous duo Freddy Daruwala and Esha Gupta. Besides a few popular moves like the famous pelvic thrust dance steps of Sanjay Dutt, the song will otherwise have a rather contemporary flavor to it from what we hear. Apparently, the music for the remake is said to be more youthful, peppy new song.

However, before this song, the makers were keen on remaking yet another iconic number of the 90s, A R Rahman’s track from Bombay, ‘Hamma Hamma’ picturized on the pretty Sonali Bendre. But due to certain right issues, they had to replace it with this Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit number.

The shoot of ‘Tamma Tamma’ is said to wrap up in a week. Commando 2, produced by Vipul Shah, is slated to release on January 6 next year.
