Being one of the biggest global stars in recent times, Shah Rukh Khan’s popularity and fan following is even higher than some international stars according to polls. And when an actress is making debut opposite this superstar, it is no less than a dream-come-true moment for her. When Pakistani actress Mahira Khan announced the news to her mother about her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan, her reaction was equally amusing.

Mahira Khan, during a media meet, had revealed how her mother reacted to the news about her daughter acting with Shah Rukh Khan. Mahira Khan, who gained popularity in India due to Pakistani serials, will be seen making her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. When the actress informed the same to her mother, she couldn’t hold back her tears. The hilarious yet adorable reaction of her mother was recreated by the actress when someone questioned her about the film Raees during a press conference. The video has gone viral on social media now and here’s a glimpse of it.

Interestingly, Raees was recently caught in the line of fire after a ban was imposed on Pakistani artists, a repercussion of the Uri attacks in Kashmir. While Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has managed to smoothly sail through posting decent collections, Raees has faced much delay in release already. The film is currently in its final stages and is expected to release in the first half of 2017.
