Ayushmann Khurrana has been having a ball of a time shooting for Bareilly Ki Barfi amidst the chilly weather of Lucknow. Besides feasting on delicious local delicacies and snacks, the actor also had a heart-warming experience from local fans – especially the kids.
While shooting for a night scene on a terrace there, the film’s crew needed about 20 young children to vacate the spot so that all noise could be avoided. However, these smart kids had a fair deal in mind. They refused to vacate their play space on the terrace till their singing star Ayushmann sang a couple of his popular numbers for them on the spot. While this request baffled the film crew, Ayushmann was happy to oblige. The actor-singer sang some of his popular tracks like ‘Mitti Di Khoshboo’ and ‘Ik Vaari’ which were quite a hit with these kids. And they in turn kept their promise, vacating the terrace.
Bareilly Ki Barfi also stars Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao and is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film has Ayushmann Khurrana playing the role of a printing press owner and it went on floor last month.
