Manoj Bajpayee bags Best Actor award at the ‘10th Asia Pacific Screen Awards’

Not many know that the stellar performer Manoj Bajpayee had got rejected four times by the National School of Drama (NSD). All thanks his consistent efforts and never-say-give up attitude that he has reached the enviable position in Bollywood today. His last film Saat Uchakkey saw him in one of the quirkiest roles in his career.

As recognition to his immense contribution to Indian cinema, Manoj Bajpayee has been awarded with many awards and citations.

The latest update on Manoj Bajpayee is that he recently bagged the ‘Best Actor’ award at the ‘10th Asia Pacific Screen Awards’ for his sensitively portrayed role in the Hansal Mehta’s film Aligarh. Manoj Bajpayee bagged the ‘Best Actor’ award by a narrow margin over yet another powerful actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was awarded with a ‘Special Mention’ in a glittering ceremony that took place in Brisbane recently.
