Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds will make its first public viewing on October 27 in Blackpool, UK. She will also flag off a global exhibition, where the statues of Bollywood stars will be taken to six major cities around the world, before coming back to Blackpool.

Her wax statue at first was scheduled to be unveiled in the 2nd week of October but it got delayed due to the passing away of her boy friend Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. After the sad incident Kareena shunned all her commitments as she was in not ready to interact with the media and public. Kareena informed the Madame Tussaud’s management that she won’t be able to take part in any event prior to Diwali. The Museum management replied back by saying that she can take her time as they are ready to wait. Everything fell in place and Kareena finalized October 27 as the date for unveiling her statue.

Kareena’s sister Karishma Kapoor and beau Saif Ali Khan will not be present for the mega event as they will be busy with the shooting of their respective films, but Kareena’s mother will attend the event alongside her daughter.

The unveiling of Kareena’s statue will kick-start a Bollywood exhibition, featuring statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others, to six countries including Hong Kong and Thailand.
