Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to revive their sizzling chemistry in yet another love story Ok Jaanu. While the film is nearing its release, the duo has kick-started the promotions on full swing and they were to appear on the Indian roasting show Comedy Nights Bachao. As Shraddha ended up cancelling a lot of her work commitments due to her driver’s ill health, now we hear that even Aditya won’t be a part of the TV show.
Readers may be aware that Shraddha Kapoor’s driver suffered a heart attack and the actress in order to help him and his family, decided to put all her work on hold. So when Aditya stepped in to continue with promotions alone, we hear that the channel did not want a solo appearance of the actor as they were more interested in the lead pair’s chemistry. Hence we hear that the two did not shoot for the show and as of now the shoot hasn’t been rescheduled either.
Owing to the current situation, it is being said that the team of this comedy show will now head to Lonavla for their next episode to collaborate with another reality show Bigg Boss which has superstar Salman Khan playing the host. And unlike their usual episodes, this will be special as it will be a two hour long one. Comedy Nights Bachao was recently under a lot of scrutiny with several celebrities walking out of the show, terming the comments and jokes as offensive. There were rumours that the show will go off air early next year.
On the other hand, Aditya and Shraddha’s film Ok Jaanu, which is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Ok Kanmani, is slated to release on January 13.
