Just a few days ago, we had reported that Priyanka Chopra has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Assam. And now the actress, who is in India for her Christmas break, decided to pay a visit to the North Eastern state.
After being crowned as the face of the state, it seems that Priyanka Chopra has set out on a short holiday to explore the picturesque locales of North East India and she is currently in Guwahati. One of the most intriguing places on Priyanka Chopra’s itinerary was the famous Kamakya temple situated in the city. This temple dedicated to many Goddesses is one of the most renowned places in the city and the actress was seen dressed in authentic traditional saree whilst visiting it. Sharing a selfie from the mandir on social media, Priyanka further tweeted, “Magical visit at Kamakhya temple in Guwahati… something so powerful in belief……. #DiscoveringAssam.”
Though Priyanka Chopra is currently on a break from her international projects, it seems that she is planning to make the most of it during her visit to India. From signing films to wrapping up brand endorsements, a lot is on her plate as of now. Yet despite the busy schedule, Priyanka couldn’t stop herself from taking this trip to the state.
