Anupam Kher began 2017 with full work mode on when he joined the cast of Indu Sarkar. On Tuesday, Anupam Kher joined the shoot of Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project and shared a few glimpses with the director himself.
Anupam Kher and Madhur Bhandarkar were seen having a laugh standing in an open space full of bricks in a sunny weather. He feels that the movie has the power to be a mother of all earthquakes. He captioned the photos, “Delighted to join team ‘Indu Sarkar’. Great first day. This film has the potential of being the mother of all earthquakes.”
Madhur Bhandarkar was also excited to see the veteran actor come on board with his project and wrote, “The passion and dedication of Anupam Kher even after 500 films is really inspirational. Welcome to our film ‘Indu Sarkar’ sir.”
Indu Sarkar stars Pink actress Kirti Kulhari in the lead and is based on the Emergency era, a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency across the country.
