Salman Khan sings for a Marathi film


While we have heard the actor crooning to ‘Hangover’and ‘Hero’ recently, Salman Khan is all set to turn singer for yet another film. But this time it is not for Bollywood. The superstar is all set to lend his voice for a Marathi film and that too for his friend Mahesh Manjrekar’s film.

Recently during the music launch of his forthcoming release Rubik’s Cube, Mahesh Manjrekar revealed that his friend and superstar Salman Khan has lent his voice for his film but also added that it is not Rubik’s Cube. The actor-filmmaker stated that Salman Khan has crooned for another film, a musical titled FU – Fun Unlimited which stars Sairat fame Akash Thosar. The film in questionhas about 14 tracks and describing the song sung by Salman Khan as a situational melodyMahesh Manjrekar added that it is a part of the narrative.

Besides this, Mahesh also revealed that the music of FU-Fun Unlimited was to be launched under Salman Khan’s music label Being Human Music but since the latter didn’t take off on time, he had to sell it to another music company. However, Mahesh is certain of collaborating with Salman Khan on the music front wherein they will be creating a private album under the superstar’s music label and he also asked the audience to expect an announcement soon.

Not just that but Mahesh also hinted at joining hands with Salman Khan for a film. He revealed that Salman Khan is keen on debuting in Marathi with Mahesh writing and directing the film. As of now, he is waiting for the right script which he will be narrating to the actor.

On the other hand, the music launch of Rubik’s Cube saw the presence of Salman Khan along with his alleged lady love Iulia Vantur, as the Romanian actress also put up a sizzling act on the song ‘DilLafanga’ from the film.
