Earlier in February, Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Luv Ranjan announced his production starring Ajay Devgn in the lead. The said film has now got a new name added to the star cast and it is none other than the award winning actress Tabu. The actress will yet again share screen space with her favourite co-actor Ajay Devgn.
Reportedly, however, it is being said that Ajay and Tabu won’t be paired opposite each other in the film. It has been learnt that the filmmaker Luv has specially written the character for Tabu. On the other hand, the makers are also on a lookout for another A-list actress to be paired opposite Ajay Devgn. Interestingly, Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who initially were paired romantically in the 90s, continued to share screen space in films like Drishyam, Fitoor and even Golmaal Again of late.
Talking about the film, it is said to be a rom-com with a fresh and quirky take on urban relationship. The untitled venture marks the foray of award winning film editor Akiv Ali into direction. Ali is known for editing some popular Bollywood blockbusters like Gangster, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi!, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, Agneepath among others. The film, also to be co-produced by Ankur Garg, is slated to go on floor by the end of this year.
As of now, Ajay Devgn is busy with Golmaal Again. The actor has apparently wrapped up the Milan Luthria multi-starrer Baadshaho.
