Just recently Manisha Koirala who will next be seen in the film Dear Maaya graced a press conference promoting the same. Also in attendance at the press meet was director Imtiaz Ali who engaged the actress in a brief QnA session. But what caught out attention was Manisha reminiscing about the time she worked with Shah Rukh Khan.
When quizzed about what she thought of Shah Rukh Khan, as Imtiaz Ali’s next venture features the actor, Manisha responded, “Shah Rukh Khan has always been the same. Except for, I think Mani sir (Mani Ratnam), everyone else goes sir, sir, sir when it comes to Shah Rukh. But he is full of energy, enthusiasm, and a pleasure to work with.”
Though Manisha had only positives to talk about, Imtiaz prodded her to reveal a few negatives too. However, refraining from saying anything negative Manisha went on to add, “Shah Rukh is really sweet, in fact he used to advise me a lot on how to be and behave. I guess he probably felt that, ‘she isn’t getting it right’, since I was always too casual. And Shah Rukh being who he is wanted me to get it right and would advise me on the same.”
