Taapsee Pannu loves fitness and besides her prep for films, the actress loves to indulge in sports and outdoor activities. She learned various forms of mix martial arts to prepare for her role in her last film and to stay fit, instead of regular exercise she chose to play the game of squash.
Not just that, we hear that the actress is brilliant at the game and has been playing it since long. She believes playing squash keeps her body fit and gives her required strength while playing the game at least an hour daily. Off late a group of kids in her neighbourhood had come forth with their desire to learn the sport. Wanting to live up to their hope, Taapsee has now taken upon herself to mentor these kids who have a keen appetite to learn about it. She will be spending time with them to teach them the sport in her capacity once she’s back in the country after having wrapped up her work for Judwaa 2 in London and attending another event in New York.
When asked Taapsee said, “I go to a sports club nearby my place and people there have seen me mostly playing squash. There are a lot of kids who use the club facilities for different sports but seeing me so loyal to squash I have had a few of them ask me to play with them. It’s been a wonderful experience to play with some teenagers because they have so much energy and urge to learn, they don’t give up easy and sometimes make me run around a lot too. I hope they continue playing this sport in the future as well.”
