SHOCKING Kangna Ranaut reveals about her near-death experience during Simran’s shoot

Kangna Ranaut has faced a lot of challenges in life – right from coming from a small town in Himachal Pradesh to shifting to Mumbai to climbing her way into Bollywood. The actress however had yet another unpleasant experience that was not just scary, but it could have also proved fatal. Kangna Ranaut was moving in a car at a high speed on a highway in USA during the shoot of her film Simran when she realized that the driver of the car passed out.

Kangna Ranaut revealed about this incident at the trailer launch of Simran yesterday. She revealed, “Something weird happened with me, which was not funny at all. I was in a car that was moving at an extraordinary speed at an American highway. And my driver on the wheel passed out! The car obviously started swerving a bit and we had this little moment where I thought of texting my parents and telling them my last goodbye! Then the car banged on a sidewalk and we were taken to the hospital.”

Kangna Ranaut then tried to lighten the situation. She joked, “If I had to put this in a script, I would have written that the driver, after banging the car, would have woken up and he would have asked, ‘Where are we?!’”

Kangna Ranaut concluded by claiming that getting over the incident was not easy. She said, “It took me a lot of time to recover from that trauma. When I narrate this incident to others, they find it hard to believe. But I have my witnesses (points at director Hansal Mehta seated next to her and other unit members) who would vouch for it.”

Simran is directed by Hansal Mehta and is all set to release on September 15.
