Salman Khan will be back on TV with the new season of the reality show, Bigg Boss from upcoming Sunday. The launch of Bigg Boss 11 took place on Tuesday afternoon at a housing complex in suburban Mumbai. The actor arrived on stage with a performance of his hit songs. Colors COO Raj Nayak was also present with Deepak Dhar of Endemol.

One of the most controversial reality shows, Bigg Boss 11, is almost here and the talk about the show has already begun. While the audience has to wait to know who the contestants are, Salman Khan has been in news for his big fat paycheck. Many reports suggested that Salman Khan is getting paid Rs 11 crore per episode.

On Tuesday, during the press conference, when Salman Khan was asked about whether the reports were true, he said, “Please make Raj (Nayak, Endemol COO) pay me that amount.” While Salman Khan tried to dodge the question, Raj Nayak suggested that the number might not be too far from the actual figure. “Salman Khan doesn’t come cheap, you know,” he said.

Talking about the controversial show and how many contestants have misbehaved in the past, Salman Khan said, “I want everyone to behave properly. I know it is not easy considering the situation where all the participants are coming from different background and mingling the first time; there are friendship, politics, people deal with the tricky situation. However, they should behave. I think many people come to the show for revamping their career and if they are fighting and misbehaving with people, industry professionals will not prefer to work with them.”

Bigg Boss 11 starts airing from October 1, on Colors TV.
