Kangana Ranaut injures her right leg on the sets of Manikarnika-1

Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, met with an accident in Jodhpur on the sets of the film while performing a major action sequence.

The accident took place when Kangana Ranaut was performing an iconic scene in the Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur where Rani Lakshmibai jumps off a 40 feet wall with Damodar, her adopted child tied to her back on to a horseback. Kangana didn’t land properly and in an attempt to save the kid from any injury ended up hurting her ankle.

Kangana was taken to a hospital immediately in the early morning hours as the crew was filming a night scene. X rays were done and it turned out to be a ligament tear. She had already finished major action scenes in last one month and this was the last dangerous stunt to be performed by her.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kangana Ranaut returned to Mumbai and was seen with a cast on her right leg. The actress was smiling for the shutterbugs as she was taken to her car in a wheelchair.

Kangana Ranaut has been advised rest for one week till then she has to keep the cast on. The crew will resume filming as soon as the cast comes off. In all possibility, she would resume shoot in two weeks as per schedule.
