After playing a murder suspect in Ittefaq, Sidharth Malhotra is all set to play an army officer in the upcoming Aiyaary. The film that is on the verge of wrapping up will be one of the first releases next year and the actor is leaving no opportunity to talk about it on social media.
Sidharth Malhotra, who is quite active on social networking platforms, decided to take to Instagram to talk about his forthcoming release even before the promotions kick start. The actor shared a picture of him on a boat from the sets of Aiyaary as an Instagram story. Talking about the image, Sidharth is seen in his stylish avatar sporting casuals and glasses looking dapper as ever.
On the other hand, the actor also reminded everyone that Aiyaary is all set to release on January 26. While there were media reports about the film releasing in February, the makers recently asserted that there is no change in the release date. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s Padman starring Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte in lead roles is releasing on the same day. Earlier, there was also buzz that Padmavati, whose release has been delayed owing to much controversy surrounding it, will also release on January 26.
As for Aiyaary, the film talks about a mentor played Manoj Bajpayee and his protégé, that is, Sidharth and their clashing ideologies. It also stars Pooja Chopra and Rakul Preet in prominent roles and is directed by Neeraj Pandey.
