Varun Dhawan is considered as a complete commercial actor who has a huge fan following among the mass audiences. His stint in films like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania etc have got him a sizeable fan following that look forward to the massy element that he brings in his performances. However, at times, he tends to cater to the niche, multiplex audience as well by working in a film like Badlapur. This particular flick was dark, violent and not meant for his target audiences – the families and kids. But the risk paid off as viewers loved him in his menacing avatar.

And now Varun Dhawan is all set to once again go the offbeat route with Shoojit Sircar’s next October. Not much is known about the film but as per reports, it’s not the usual entertainer. Certain stills of the film were out and now, the team of the film has unveiled two new stills that surely deserve to be seen. The first one shows Varun Dhawan with a huge bag on his shoulder in the hill station of Manali, Himachal Pradesh. He seems to be pointing to something or someone to a curious old gentleman. The actor looks quite dashing donning the leather jacket, denim jeans and brown shoes. The other picture shows the film’s leading lady, debutante Banita Sandhu, posing lovingly. She has a cute dog in her lap and her clothes are also quite striking.

As per confirmed reports, this is Varun Dhawan’s fastest film as he completed shooting for October in just 38 days. Also, this is his more realistic film as he along with Banita Sandhu didn’t have any hairstylist, make-up artiste or designer clothes to glam up their looks in this gritty slice-of-life love story.

October is all set to release on April 13, 2018.
