Akshay Kumar is a busy man. The actor has quite a few movies in the pipeline. After finishing Padman schedule, Akshay Kumar began shooting for his next film, Gold in London in July 2017.
Now, Akshay Kumar’s another highly awaited film Gold has finally wrapped up. The actor announced the wrap up in the most Khiladi way possible by doing a somersault. Donning a dhoti and a kurta, Akshay captioned the video, “good beginning makes a good ending…true story. It’s a wrap for GOLD, an incredible journey with a great team. See you at the movies. #ItsAWrap #Gold.”
Gold will also mark the debut of TV actress Mouni Roy in the film industry. It is a sports drama based on India’s first Olympic Gold medal win in hockey as a free country at 1948 London Olympics. The film also stars Amit Sadh and Kunal Kapoor in pivotal roles. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and directed by Reema Kagti. The film will hit the theatres on August 15, 2018.
