For years, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been in relationship. Although the rumoured couple has not admitted it publicly, time and again their industry colleagues have mentioned they are going strong. Like the time when Karan Johar informed Priyanka Chopra on the episode of Koffee with Karan that Ram and Leela are still together. They first starred in Ram Leela. Or the time when Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage co-star Vin Diesel spilled the tea that he met Deepika’s boyfriend during the Mumbai premiere.
Since Ram Leela, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been together and even spend time with each other’s parents. So, it was kind of cute when he was seen bonding with Deepika Padukone’s father Prakash Padukone recently at an event.
On Sunday evening, Ranveer attended a launch event of badminton champion Prakash Padukone and former cricketer Rahul Dravid’s Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, India’s premier sports facility. The inaugural event was in Bengaluru where both Deepika and Ranveer were present. In afternoon, Ranveer looked sharp and dapper at the airport while leaving for Bengaluru. He donned a well-tailored grey suit look with white sneakers with his travel bag and reflectors.
Ranveer Singh shared a series of photographs from the event with the legends from the different sports field. Starting with Badminton champion Prakash Padukone, he captioned the image, “God of Badminton. Prakash Padukone.”
Then, Ranveer snapped a selfie with sharpshooter Abhinav Bindra and wrote, “#IceMan Abhinav Bindra.”
Meeting the wall of cricket Rahul Dravid, Ranveer captioned it, “The Wall Rahul Dravid.”
Ranveer also met the star player of the chess, Vishwanathan Anand and wrote, “Grandmaster.”
Lastly, he met the Billiards champion Geet Sethi and captioned the image, “Big Daddy of Billiards.”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be soon seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Ranveer is also prepping to play a rapper in Gully Boy. The film brings to the screen the fresh pair Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh for the first time on big screen. Although they have starred in several ads, this is the first time they will be seen in a movie together. This film also marks the reunion of Ranveer with Zoya Akhtar after Dil Dhadakne Do. Gully Boy is slated to go on floors in January 2018.
