Aishwarya Rai Bachchan mesmerized us all with her ethereal charm as the poetess Saba Taliyar Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. Redefining the 40s as the new 20s, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems to dabble it all with an enviable aplomb. A hands-on mother to her five-year-old daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, she manages to look nothing but spectacular every time she steps out. Cut to 2017, the Bachchan bahu was snapped cheering for daughter Aaradhya as she performed at the annual day festivities of the Dirubhai Ambani International School. Sporting an overload of polka dots, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s style offering failed to strike a chord.
Polka dots are often misconstrued for its juvenile nature and often dominate kids’ closet. But women have eternally loved this spotty print and we see a revival of this trend every season. The diva paired an Andrew Gn polka dot top featuring a round neckline and full length sleeves with fringe trim with a polka dot asymmetrical midi skirt featuring a high waist and fringe hem.
A pair of black Dior heels, bright lips and sleek open hair with middle parting rounded out the look.
Bollywood Hungama Style Take
In addition to being utterly gorgeous, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a veteran at Cannes but her tryst with fashion has always been a tricky road. Indulging in an overload of mixed sized polka dots with an additional patchwork, we cannot help but be a bit overwhelmed! A look straight from the runway, Aishwarya certainly had a perfect beauty game in tow but the result failed to impress us.

On the professional front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen opposite Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the musical comedy, Fanne Khan which is also the official remake of the Oscar nominated Belgian film Everybody’s Famous. It is scheduled for a release on June 15, 2018.
