Priyanka Chopra, who is busy shooting for the third season of her American TV series Quantico, recently attended the ongoing Sundance Film Festival 2018 in Utah. The actress was promoting her second Hollywood venture, A Kid Like Jake before the grand premiere on January 23.
Priyanka Chopra has been doing panels and interviews with her fellow actors Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer and Claire Danes and director Silas Howard. The film had its premiere last night at the Sundance 2018.
Priyanka arrived on the red carpet of the premiere dressed in a distressed black and white knitted oversized sweater with a green and navy skirt. She wore sheer nylons and sky-high boots with dark lips and tied hair. She was later joined by the lead actress Claire Danes who opted for stripe top and leather trousers.
Child actor Leo James who plays Jake in the film also shared some cutesy moments with Priyanka on the red carpet. Priyanka was later joined by lead actor and producer Jim Parsons and director Silas Howard at the red carpet of their film.
A Kid Like Jake is based on Lincoln Center’s celebrated play of the same name which follows the story of Greg and Alex, a couple who want the best for their four-year-old, Jake. They try to get him into private schools in New York but discover that they can’t afford these schools. What makes Jake different from others is that he prefers Cinderella to GI Joe is a gender-variant, a fact which the couple uses to try and apply for school scholarships.
Jim Parsons will play Greg and Claire Danes will play Alex. Priyanka Chopra is playing a single mother in the film.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico will return with its third season in April 2018. It will be a short season with 13 episodes as the show is going through a lot of changes.
