Will Tiger Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff, make his debut in Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar’s AASHIQUI 2, directed by Mohit Suri? If true, what happens to the extensive talent hunt organized by the makers of the film to choose the lead actors? Also, a news-report in a section of the media states that AASHIQUI 2 will have two lead men, with Tiger and another newcomer [not finalized yet], and two female actors essaying principal roles. “The truth of the matter is that Tiger is a family friend’s son, but he was neither considered, nor signed for AASHIQUI 2,” Mukesh Bhatt clarifies, “Had we decided to launch Tiger in AASHIQUI 2, why would we go ahead with a talent hunt in the first place? Tiger is a great looker and I am sure he has terrific potential, but we aren’t launching him in AASHIQUI 2. The lead pair would be chosen only through the talent hunt.”
Mukesh Bhatt’s timely clarification should put things in the right perspective!
