While we have known that Priyanka Chopra is in the last leg of her Quantico schedule, a picture posted by her recently took us by a surprise. Why? Well, the picture said that the actress is taking off to Dubai after a New York schedule. For all fans of PC who keep a track, her Instagram posts often reveal her next plan.
In this case, fans were eager to see Priyanka Chopra catch up on the last schedule of Quantico which will be in Ireland. Or they expected the actress to hop on to the flight and return to India to spend time with her family. But neither happened! As fans were left wondering as to the real reason why Priyanka Chopra flew to Dubai, let us tell you that this was for a good cause.
Knowing the fact that Priyanka Chopra is a UNICEF ambassador, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the actress also dedicates her time for philanthropy work. So continuing with the same, Priyanka flew to Dubai to attend the recent United Nations General Assembly [UNGA] that was held in the city.
Well, the proof of it as we know is the recent updates on social media. Priyanka Chopra, in fact, posted a picture with the former Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard on her Instagram page. She even captioned the image speaking about how honoured she was to share the frame with her. Her caption read, “So wonderful to see you again @juliagillard…and proud to stand alongside you as a champion for global education. I’m looking forward to continuing our discussion from #UNGA. Big thank you to the @varkeyfdn for bringing us all together. #GESF @gesforum.”
As mentioned in her statement, Priyanka Chopra attended the recent UNGA to campaign for global education. In the past, the actress has expressed her support majorly for girl education and female empowerment initiatives.
