The sequel to 2011’s super hit comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana starring the Deols is all set to go on floors this year, but instead of Samir Karnik, the sequel will be directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
Sangeeth Sivan has earlier worked with Sunny Deol in Zor and Bobby in Ek-The Power Of One, so when he was asked by the Deols if he would be interested in doing the sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana, Sivan immediately agreed. The sequel will retain the old characters but will have a completely different story.
Apart from Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Sangeeth is also working with Bobby and Dharamendra in film called Cheers, which is a beautiful story of a father and son. Cheers will go on floors after Yamla Pagla Deewana is complete.
