Sonam Kapoor is all set to marry her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja who is based out of Delhi and London. The festivities are on a full swing at Anil Kapoor’s residence and the groom to be Anand has also arrived in Mumbai. With just two days remaining for the big day, Anand and Sonam are all set to walk down the aisle. Despite all this, wedding festivities will be shortlived for the couple and the reason is Sonam’s choc-o-blocked schedule. It is important to note that she will fly to the French Rivera as soon as her shaadi gets done as she represents an international cosmetic giant and has been walking the Cannes red carpet since many years now.
Sonam is set to fly to France as her appearance is schedule on May 14. Soon after the Cannes frenzy gets over, the actress will head home to continue shooting for Shelly Dhar’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and promote Veere Di Wedding releasing on June 1 in full swing. Just as that gets over, in August, she will start work on The Zoya Factor with Dulquer Salmaan. Sources claim that the film has a jam packed start to finish schedule and the actress will have no time to take a break. Therefore, the honeymoon for the actress will happen only in October-November.
Aside from this, Sonam will be solo at Cannes Red Carpet and Anand will NOT be joining her there. The two love birds were spotted last night at a cosmetic clinic in the city to get last minute grooming sessions. Later, they were off to see some real estate properties as the couple plans to shuttle between Delhi, Mumbai and London. Anand’s family owns an ancestral bungalow in the capital and houses in London. Sonam’s base is Mumbai and therefore she would have to stay here for all the work commitments.
