Janhvi Kapoor’s Dhadak trailer dropped yesterday and Karan Johar personally presided over the launch event, calling the film the labour of his love. Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi presented themselves well at the event and held out a promise of being superstars of tomorrow. They got rave reviews for their trailer from the industry and their fans but the most heartening thing to see was the entire Kapoor family standing together on podium, supporting Janhvi for her debut. She obviously was choked with emotions as she missed her mother Sridevi but also thanked her family for being there for her at the time of this bittersweet occasion. Her elder step sister Anshula Kapoor took to Instagram to share a beautiful post wishing her all the luck, Janhvi (affectionately called Jaanu) by the family was quick to respond with a ‘love you’ comment.
Anshula put out the link of the trailer and wrote, “Aaaaaaah My cutie @janhvikapoor’s trailer is out now for the world to see and I cannot be more proud, or more excited! My mind has officially been blown by both my Jaanu & @ishaan95! How phenomenal is the trailer and how fantastic are both of them?? Hit it out of the park and how! 20th July, why you so far away? Super duper excited for this one!! (link in my bio).” What’s more? Brother Arjun Kapoor too had posted a beautiful message for Janhvi a day before the trailer release. He apologised for not being there for the big day as he is shooting for Namaste England and is out of the country but gave her wonderful advice for her career like any big brother would. Aww!
He had written, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever #JanhviKapoor cause your trailer comes out… Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue.”
