Ranveer Singh and PV Sindhu met and well, as expected there were fireworks. For one, both are each other’s fans and so first Sindhu fangirled over Baba and then it was other way around. The two met for Forbes India Tycoon of Tomorrow event in Mumbai. Ranveer was felicitated with the Youth Icon Award and PV Sindhu could not help but bashfully go all gaga over him on Twitter. She posted her picture with him and wrote, “Finally we meet! It was such a pleasure meeting you and an absolute fan moment. I congratulate you for all the success and I wish you all the very best for your future endeavours. I would rather call you ‘rockstar’ than Ranveer Singh.” Ranveer replied to the tweet with, “Yes, finally! it was a pleasure indeed! and likewise, a fan moment for me too… You make us so proud, champ! It is interesting to note that PV Sindhu is a badminton player of great repute and Ranveer’s wifey to be actress Deepika Padukone too was a professional player during her teenage days and is a daughter of legendary badminton player Prakash Padukone. So, of course Ranveer’s badminton connection is too obvious to ignore!
On work front, he is currently shooting for Simmba with Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty.
