USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Veteran actress Rekha took oath as member of the Rajya Sabha earlier today in New Delhi. She was greeted with thumping of desk when her name was called for taking oath.

Rekha was dressed in a golden brown saree and was immediately greeted by other members as soon as she entered the House. The actress was allotted seat no.99 and even attended the proceedings of the House for some time. She also was seen exchanging notes with noted lyricist Javed Akhtar.

It may be recalled that Rekha along with cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and entrepreneur- activist Anu Aga was nominated for the Rajya Sabha around a month ago.
