USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Wake Up Sid director Ayan Mukerji recently got punched on his nose by one of the crew members of his upcoming Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
The makers of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani had hired Vishwas Batra to shoot the making of the film. During the film's Manali schedule, some of Ayan's assistants were using Vishwas's camera, which made Vishwas upset and he brought this to Ayan's notice. Ayan didn't pay much heed to Vishwas's complaint and the problem remained unsolved. One night, over drinks Vishwas once again brought up the topic saying that it interfered with his work, on this, Ayan apparently took his assistants side and gave Vishwas a piece of his mind.
Reportedly, Ayan's comments made Vishwas very angry and he punched Ayan on his nose leaving him bleeding profusely. When Karan Johar's production house heard about the incident, they decided to do away with the crew brought in to shoot the making and Vishwas got sacked and was sent back to Mumbai the next day.
