Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan is without any single doubt is riding very high with unlimited pleasures after his team Kolkata Knight Riders’ win over Chennai Super Kings in IPL Season Five’s final match. Since then the party season is going on with the team and the owners. Now Shah Rukh wants change in the team’s anthem and likes to rope in the internationally famed American singer Akon to sing it. Akon has previously sung two songs for Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Ra.One’. Of the two, Chammak Chalo’ looted the scene and emerged as a chartbuster.

The team’s anthem ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’ was previously rendered by Vishal Dhadlani and the music scored by the duo of Vishal-Shekhar. Talking with a daily, Vishal says that the new version of the anthem will be scored now and the song has already been written by Vishal and Sujoy Ghosh (the man who recently made Kahaani).

Vishal goes on saying that the anthem will be about the celebrations of the team which came after a long wait of five years. Vishal adds that in total, the song is all about KKR’s victory. He reveals that as it is Kolkata team, the anthem will utterly reflect the fun-filled culture of Bengal. When asked if Akon has been roped in to croon the lines? He responds that he has been in constant touch with the singer and Shah Rukh too has been well in contact with him but nothing is yet constructive.

Shah Rukh Khan reportedly is very much interested in roping in Akon and he has made all the arrangements to record this song. Khan is quite impressed by the skills of the vocalist therefore he will bring him in the recording room for the song for his team KKR. Let’s wait to listen Akon’s singing once again.
