Ranveer Singh celebrated Padmaavat’s anniversary in style yesterday as he posted a throwback video of him from the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali magnum opus. In this hilarious video, Ranveer is seen sitting in his menacing Alauddin Khilji avatar, grooving to the global party anthem ‘Makeba’ sung by the very talented Jain.
Ranveer brilliantly captioned the post writing: “Bad Man having a Good time” and called himself “Alauddin Chill-ji”! The video, of course, went viral and broke the internet and garnered over 4.5 million views in just 19 hours! In the day and age of social media, the word spreads fast and Jain obviously took note of Ranveer’s video that had gone viral internationally. She left a sweet note to Ranveer saying, “@ranveersingh give thanks for the support!” Ranveer too acknowledged Jain’s kind words and said, “@jainmusic one of my all-time jams! Keep dem righteous tunes comin’! Much love.”
With Ranveer also breaking out this year as a sensational, chart-busting hip-hop artist in Gully Boy for which he has sung 4 songs, will we ever see them collaborate? Anyway, we are simply loving these two talents artists interacting with each other on social media for now!
