Ranveer Singh’s latest release Gully Boy opened with a bang yesterday, and is expected to continue to rake in the moolah over the weekend. But away from the box office success of the film, there is yet another reason for Ranveer to smile, and that is Hollywood actor Will Smith’s video message. In fact Smith, who met Ranveer on his trip to India last year, took to his Instagram account sharing a few words of what he thought about Gully Boy.
Posting the video to his Insta story Smith added, “Yo, Ranveer! Congrats, man. I’m loving what you’re doing with Gully Boy. For me, old school hip-hop here scene… hip-hop all over the world, like that I’m loving it man. Congrats. Go get them”.
While we are sure that Ranveer is pretty kicked about getting this message from Smith, his film Gully Boy continues to dominate the box office. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and also featuring Alia Bhatt Gully Boy traces the journey of a young rapper from the slums who rises to the top.
