Deepika Padukone, who rarely takes to Instagram to share personal posts, recently surprised her fans by taking to the platform to flaunt this gift she received from Ranveer Singh. The actress was happy to receive these adorable bathroom slippers in the shape of an emoji and also posted about her happiness on Instagram story saying, “husband knows me best #bestgiftever” in the boomerang. Well, they do look adorable!

While prior to the marriage, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh maintained silence over their relationship, the couple has now uninhibited and often posts about their love for each other on social media. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in Lake Como in Italy earlier in November last year. The couple also held a few reception bashes in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai for close relatives, friends and even the media.

As of now, the couple has dedicated all their time to their work commitments. Ranveer Singh, who is riding high on the success of Simmba and Gully Boy, has started work on the Kabir Khan directorial ’83 based on the historic win of India at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. The actor will also feature in the multi-starrer Takht with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone will be turning producer with her next, which is Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak that also stars Vikrant Massey in a prominent role. The film is based on the real life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
