Mumbai: Yesteryear’s superstar Rajesh Khanna has once again been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital. Few days back there were reports making the rounds of the media that the actor’s health dropped badly and he even stopped having the intake of food. But on Thursday, Akshay Kumar, his son in law, came up by denying the reports saying Khanna was absolutely fine and his health was recovering.
The worried fans of the yesteryear’s superstar Khanna started gathering outside his house in Mumbai to learn about his health. To show that he was fine, Rajesh Khanna came out on his balcony along with his estranged wife Dimple Kappadia and son in law Akshay Kumar. He waves the hand to his fans and showed them the ‘V’ sign of victory. He was dressed in a white kurta with a stole around his neck. He was sporting the heavy beard. Khanna was looking weak but his spirits were high. He was showing off the same stylish smile which he used to show in his heydays.
Rajesh Khanna is called the Bollywood’s first superstar. He ruled the Indian cinema in 1960s and 1970s era. His famous movies include Aaradhana, Anand, Bawarchi and Namak Haram.
His two daughters – Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie Khanna along with his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia are taking care of him and are around him thoroughly in the hospital. Akshay Kumar, his son in law and the husband of Twinkle Khanna, too has been with him.
Earlier in April 2012, Khanna was also admitted to the hospital but soon he was discharged after his health got recovered. The fans are very worried about his health and they have started gathering outside the hospital now. Rajesh Khanna was last seen on TV in Havells Fans ads. Few years back, he also did a movie with a leading role.
