Piyish Jha, who made the critically acclaimed film Sikandar, has now turned author. The director is ready with his book titled Mumbaistan which as the name suggests is an expose on the underbelly of Mumbai.
Writing just happened by chance to Jha who is now even planning to convert his first novel into a feature film. Ekta Kapoor, who would be launching the book sometime in August, has shown a keen interest in filming one of Jha's crime thrillers. Ekta has even written a front-cover blurb for Mumbaistan.
