Keeping up with the trend of unconventional Bollywood films, Ayushmann Khurrana once again came on board for a role that aims at breaking stereotypes! Bala is about premature balding and taps on other unrealistic standards of beauty that still continue to plague our society. With Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar playing leading ladies, the film had gone on floor earlier this year and now the schedule has come to an end. Needless to say, the team was recently seen celebrating the wrap up of Bala.
From cake cutting on the sets to a wrap up bash that followed, we see the team celebrating the occasion whole-heartedly.
Videos of the same were posted by Ayushmann Khurrana in his Instagram handle. Going by the same, not just the actor, but the entire cast and crew of the film were seen letting their hair down and dancing to the tunes of Bollywood chartbusters. The cake cutting saw Yami Gautam and Ayushmann along with the rest of the team but it seems that Bhumi Pednekar missed out on the moment.

Coming to Bala, the film will see Ayushmann Khurrana dealing with premature balding and the stigma that comes along with it. Yami Gautam is expected to play the role of a model in a small town and also as Ayushmann’s love interest. On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar will be seen as a girl who is tackling issues owing to her dark skin. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is expected to hit the theatres on November 22, 2019.
