Sonakshi Sinha is one of the few Bollywood actresses who despite not having the cliché figure required to become a Bolly heroine, has carved a niche of her own in the industry, and is a very successful heroine of today. So when Sona was asked what is her USP which makes her so very popular despite lacking heroine-like features , she states it is a collective effort of the entire cast and crew of the film to make it a hit, so it does not depend on herself solely. Also she is fortunate to get such masaladaar entertaining flicks like “Dabangg” and “Rowdy Rathore” which went to become blockbusters as the films had in them, all essential components like comedy, romance, action and also drama.
Sonakshi is just two years old in the industry, but the sexy kitten has got enough of acclamations from her audience as well as the critics, and thus has established a rock-solid position in the industry for herself. She is comfortable in playing rural kind of roles as we can see she has done role like ‘Rajjo’ in “Dabangg” and recently in “Rowdy Rathore” she played the role of ‘Paro’. However she is not averse to taking up urban roles, if she gets a good script, definitely she will be portraying such roles, assures Sonakshi. While her contemporaries like Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, are doing modern urban roles, Shatrugan’s daughter Sona chose to be different from the rest of the group of beauties.

But the brigade of plumpier curvier divas is quite strong too, which includes not only Sonakshi Sinha but even Vidya Balan and also the most beautiful woman of earth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. While Bebo feels fat is not sexy, actress Vidya thinks voluptuous is beautiful! Well what is Sonakshi’s take on size zero and voluptuous figure! Sona tells us she really works hard to stay in proper shape and besides she owns a pretty face. She is presentable as a heroine, and she does not like to be extremely thin or size zero. Sona feels plumpy body is quite sexy. Well, the curvy diva has re-introduced the voluptuous figure in the industry, since not many women in the Bollywood industry is bold enough to attain the voluptuous look.
Sonakshi debuted in Bollywood with the film “Dabangg” in 2010, and she had Salman Khan to play the hero in the film. The film went on to be a blockbuster and it got the highest earnings in that year. This year, we saw her in “Rowdy Rathore” opposite Akshay Kumar, the film was surely not a match with “Dabangg”’s box office performance, yet was a blockbuster. And this month on August 31st, Sonakshi’s latest film “Joker” is going to be releases, which also stars Akshay Kumar. The film is made by Shirish Kunder. Sonakshi Sinha is also filming for “Dabangg 2” by Arbaaz Khan these days.
