It's megastar Amitabh Bachchan's 77th birthday today! Unarguably the biggest icon of Hindi cinema, Bachchan enjoys unmatched love and admiration from fans across all walks. No wonder Twitter is flooded with everyone showering their warm wishes on the actor on his birthday. Touched, he took to Twitter to thank everyone.

Bachchan, who was last in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla, has an array of interesting films coming up. He recently finished filming for Shoojit Sircar's Gulabo Sitabo and Rumi Jaffery's Chehre. He is also a pivotal part of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra. Nagraj Manjule's Jhund, revolving around Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse, will feature him in the lead role.
