After much promotion today we saw the release of the well-received film Midway. Starring Luke Evans, Patrick Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Ed Skrein and Nick Jonas Midway is a war film based on the story of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Battle of Midway during World War II. While interest for the film has been at an all-time high, Harrelson recently revealed what he thought of the character he plays in the film.

Speaking about Chester W. Nimitz, Woody Harrelson said, “After Pearl Harbour, there was a lot of pressure on the United States to rebuild these ships quickly, and do what they could to become a power. Admiral Nimitz was the right man for the job. He was a relentless, hard-working, and thoughtful guy who made critical decisions that changed the course of the war.”

As for the film, Midway that is directed by Roland Emmerich, released today in India.
