Talaash based on Zoyas real life experience

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… Aamir Khan's Talaash which released last week has been written by Zoya Akhtar along with director Reema Kagti. What people don't know or are completely unaware of is that the suspense of the film is actually a real incident that Zoya Akhtar apparently experienced years ago.

Says a source, Zoya is a very rational person, however she had certain a life changing experience. This experience gave birth to the idea of Talaash. Commenting on the same, Zoya says, "I had an experience which I could not explain to myself and to others while I was on my way back from a south Mumbai party spot. It was near Haji Ali. All six of us who were travelling went through this. And this experience which I went through became the vital ingredient of Talaash's story. I spoke to Reema about this and it became the initial trigger point of the script that we wrote together."
