USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Last week we reported on Kangna Ranaut being cast as a mujrawali in her next film Rajjo. Now we hear that Kangna has been signed on to play a crime sleuth in a film tentatively titled Nikita Pai. The film which is being produced by Viki Rajani will be directed by Pawan Kriplani of Ragini MMS fame. The film is written by Rahul and Vivek Kumar.
The film Nikita Pai will see Kangna playing a science teacher who also moonlights as an amateur detective exposing supernatural crimes. Inspirited by the crime novels Sherlock Holmes and Nancy Drew, the film will have Ranaut yet again playing a strong female centric lead.
Nikita Pai is set to go on the floors next year in May, with almost ninety per cent of the film being shot in Kerala.
