Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Soon after the release of R.Madhavan- Kangna Ranaut starrer Tanu Weds Manu, the makers of the film had got embroiled in a legal tussle amongst themselves with regards to the rights of ownership to the film. Co-producers Vinod Bachchan and Shailesh R. Singh had jointly produced the film but Bachchan had filed a case against Singh and distributor Sunil Bohra for selling the music, worldwide, satellite, home-video and direct to home rights of the film without his knowledge and permission.

Now fed up with the court proceedings, Vinod Bachchan has entered into an out-of-court settlement with both Singh and Bohra following which he has got an amount of Rs. 80 lakhs in settlement. Besides, Bachchan has also managed to retain the rights to make the film's sequel.
