Director Shoojit Sircar who is currently busy with his film Madras Cafe that stars John Abraham underwent an emergency appendicitis surgery. The surgery came post the director's complaints of constant and persistent abdominal pains.
In fact Shoojit who had been bearing the pain for weeks finally consulted a doctor who promptly recommended that he undergo an operation immediately. Shoojit was operated upon three days back and has been advised complete rest by the doctor.
