After producing Hindi films like Paa and a Marathi film like Vihir, Amitabh Bachchan's AB Corp will now be producing a Gujarati film. The film titled Saptapadii is a family drama starring Swaroop Sampat and Manav Gohil. The film is directed by Niranjan Thade.
Saptapadii is the story of a wife who decides to help an orphan child (who is a victim of terror) against her husband's wishes. Swaroop fit the bill of the lead character rather perfectly as she does a lot of social work in real life as well. The film is slated to release on Feb 1.
