Narinder Batra (Secretary General- Hockey India and HIL's chairman) said that it's good that eminent personalities from varied fields are visiting stadiums across cities to watch the league in action. Hockey has been sensational and informed Indian audiences have reacted positively. He added that they have seen an upswing in stadium attendance across all five cities and that they will welcome Akshay Kumar with open arms.
On his part, Akshay said that he is a sportsperson by heart and it is good to see world class hockey action across cities in the country. He added that this league has the potential to change the face of hockey in the country and that he will follow as many matches as he can.
