Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier this week, we reported that Salman Khan's Mental, which had run into trouble over south Indian stuntmen, had resumed shooting again. However, now we hear that the film may yet again face trouble with the lead actress Sana Khan being booked by the Navi Mumbai police for kidnapping.
Apparently, Sana has been booked for her connection in an attempted kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl who had rebuffed her cousin Naved Khan's advances. While Naved and his two friends – Kshitij Gopinath Dubey and Vismit Vilas Ambre were arrested, Sana has gone into hiding, disrupting Mental's shooting schedule. On the other hand, a 17-year old boy, who was with Sana, Naved and their friends when they tried to kidnap the girl, has been booked under the Juvenile Act.
As for Sana's involvement in the case, it is learnt that she had tried to kidnap the girl when she was returning from her class X tuitions. A formal complaint of the same was later registered at the Turbhe police station by the minor's mother.
However, on the other hand, Sana's spokesperson claims that though there is an FIR lodged against Sana, the allegations are baseless and untrue and that Sana has been wrongly accused in the case.
